Personally, I have gained a tremendous amount of understanding and knowledge about classroom dynamics, lesson planning, grammar that will become invaluable in my teaching experience. Everything that I have learned in the tefl course, I plan to put into action by referring to the course content and my worksheet lesson plans and answers when in doubt, structuring proper and creative lesson plans, adapt to accommodate my students' needs and interests, encourage and give positive feedback every day to build my students' confidence and enthusiasm for learning. The most important lesson I have learned completing this course is to be patient and sensitive to the students because only with a relaxed and supportive atmosphere can students break out of their shells and begin to learn. Lesson planning is like creating a piece of art, certain combinations of tasks and activities work well together in precise timing harmonize just like the paint and the colors of a great oil painting would, it pays to be creative while persistent on teaching methods. I learned that in lesson planning and teaching, there needs to be a balance between work and play, and only with an infusion of both could the learning be maximized and achieved effectively.
