Personally this course made me realize just how much I have forgotten about the english language. At times it was really challenging as speaking english comes naturally to me, but when needing to complete some of these units I really had to work hard and dig deep. I think this course will definitely help me when teaching as it has focused on everything one needs to consider when planning a lesson and all the different teaching skills. It was well structured and detailed and has provided me with many different activities and exercises that can be done with the students in order for them to learn and find learning english fun and interesting. I also think I have gained the necessary skills and confidence to teach english. I plan to leave for thailand soon, to teach english and to give back while also experiencing their unique culture. I am honestly looking forward to the new challenge.
