This unit overall felt like it was the least impactful on me. All of the information seemed fairly obvious. The one thing that stood out most to me, and I will definitely be incorporating into any future lessons I lead, is the idea of the balanced vocabulary teaching. In my experience as a language learner, I would always get frustrated reading a text with difficult vocabulary, and the teacher only having defined a few key words. Now I realize that that promoted my learning and helped me more in learning the language, as opposed to a teacher giving me all the vocabulary and not challenging me at all.
