The first video in this unit showed how a teacher's behavior affects the ability of students to learn. The lesson was conducted without respect for the students, and the teacher failed to explain why any of the content was being taught. In turn, the students failed to comprehend much of the lesson. The second video showed the teacher explaining the lesson more clearly, providing context for each phase, and respecting the students. In this video, the students were clearly more engaged, interested, and able to learn than in the first video.
