This unit is about teaching productive skills. Speaking and writing are equally important skills to learn when studying a new language. Accuracy based activities, such as drilling, and fluency based activities, such as discussions, are important to include in speaking lessons. If students seem reluctant to speak, then it is important to change the classroom dynamic.
