This unit looks at the importance of integrative skills, particularly at speaking and writing skills, called productive skills. When teaching speaking skills, we have to consider aspects like accuracy and fluency and organize and structure the activities accordingly. As for teaching writing skills, we focus on the same consideration as teaching the speaking skills but there's a number of other different factors that come into play, such as handwriting, spelling and punctuation. Both skills, speaking and writing play and important role in the English teaching process.
