Off of the coattails of the previous unit on receptive skills, this unit covers the productive skills of writing and speaking. With the first half of the lesson teaching different activities to get students speaking and how to encourage students to speak whether they lack the confidence or lack interest in the subject or said topic is a sensitive matter culturally. The latter half of the lesson focusing on writing and troubles students may encounter such as spelling or difficulty with the alphabet(if they have a different system).
