The future tenses are used to explain events that have yet to happen. For example future simple is used to explain predictions, spontaneous descisions, promises and threats.(I will be right there.) With the present continuous you can describe definite arrangements as well as plans without a time frame. An example could be"Are you going to the movie tonight?" The future perfect covers events that have been completed by a certain time in the future, whereas the future perfect continuous describes something that is still happening by a certain time in the future. Then there is "going + the infinitive" which is used often overall in the English language. It is for making predictions based on evidence, such as "It is going to snow here this winter."
