Besides present and past tenses, future tenses are also important. Future tenses are used to talk about actions that will happen in the future. They include future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, and going to future. In addition, present simple and present continuous can be used to express what will happen in the future. Future simple is used to talk about future facts and certainties, promises, predictions, assumptions or speculations, spontaneous decisions, and threats. When people want to say something will be in progress at a particular moment in the future, they can use future continuous. Furthermore, future continuous can be used to predict the present to say what they think or guess might be happening now, influence the listener's intentions, and refer to future events which are fixed or decided. Future perfect is used to say that something will have been done, completed by a certain time in the future, while future perfect continuous is used to say how long something will have continued by a certain time. People can use "going to" for intentions, predictions based on present evidence, and plans made before speaking. People can also use the present simple and present continuous when they talk about schedules, suggestions, arrangements, and decisions that are related to the future.
