The unit is about the future tenses, that is the future simple tense, future continuous, the future perfect, future perfect continuous. The unit goes on to differentiate between the future tenses with the going to the future tenses which are often confused. I learnt that some tenses are used to show predictions while others are used to show spontaneous decisions made at the time of speaking. Present simple and the present continuous may also give reference to future actions or activities to be completed in the future but that does not necessarily make them future tenses
