This unit on lesson planning seemed to do a good job of covering the bases. I learned the primary reasons for lesson planning: logical sequence, working document, documents what has been taught and can be handy for a substitute teacher to know what was covered in the past. Included in the lesson plan are the following: Name of teacher, date, classroom, expected number of students, context of class, focus of class, learner objectives, teacher objectives, anticipated problems. The video also covered the correct progression of correction and how it should be handled.
