I have learned the importance of present tenses and how explicitly they can be broken down to convey a point or meaning. Even more, I have learned practical teaching methods I can employ to teach my future students these present tenses. I think this unit did a good job of relaying some of the common mistakes Eglish learners make when learning present tenses - even those who speak English as their first language make those mistakes! It was most beneficial to see the conjugated examples of the present tenses, as well as more examples of irregular verbs that will eventually play out in sentences I will teach to my students.
