This ties up our tenses units. Now the average student who learns these methods should be equipped to express themselves with the full range of English language. Future tenses matter, because they relate to intention, planning, and possibilities. Without the adequate language for such expressions, students are left with very limited planning abilities in the English language. For example, if we plan to meet next week for coffee (or tea) the student must understand that tense, or else they will be confused and/or improperly communicate intentions. With this corner stone in their wheelhouse, they should be properly equipped.
