This unit was very interesting because I had no idea that many teachers had an opposing opinion on whether or not to use the course books in the classroom. Throughout this unit I see where the problem can be for the teacher as well as the student. One major problem with using the course book is the course book was designed for all nationalities. So, it's not very specific for the many different native languages the students will be learning from. The good thing about course books however, is the fact that for new teachers, it will provide a good guide and will help with the grading of the students according to their level.
