This unit gives the opportunity to observe the real lesson of the English language. I looked at two opposing lessons that highlight some of the main differences between effective and ineffective learning. The first lesson was ineffective because the teacher was rude, he was not interested in the lesson and he was annoyed when the students made mistakes. Because of this, students felt embarrassed and confused. In the second lesson, the teacher was polite, calm and smiling. He calmly reacted to the mistakes of the students, thanks to which they were not afraid to answer and participate more actively in the lesson. I didn’t even imagine that a teacher’s behavior and attitude towards the class could play such an important role in teaching.
