This unit offers the opportunity to see effective and ineffective teaching. In the first video, we see how confusing learners can be whilst a teacher is not happy teaching and tries to elicit words or verbs from them without any former explanation about the lesson content. Being in this class I would have felt discouraged unmotivated and lost. In the second video, the atmosphere is completely different, learners feel at ease as the teacher is smiling and very encouraging. Examples are made with learners before letting them do the exercise. So obviously a teacher must be happy to teach the learners attending the class. Then his/her lesson has to be planned with explanations and examples as well as considering the level of the students.
