In this unit I have learned that the teacher's attitude in the class has a profound effect on the success of the lesson. The use of gap-fill activity is very useful in the engage phase activity of the class. Teacher must give a clear instruction for every activity in the class. Teacher must know the students name and try to engage all the students in the lesson to build a good rapport with them. Using the ESA (Engage / Study / Activate) method is very effective in teaching English as a second language.
