This unit is a video lesson that compares two different English teaching lessons. The teacher has a different attitude and teaching technique in each of the lessons. As a result, the students respond differently to each lesson. In the first lesson, the teacher is intimidating and does not do well to engage the students, which causes the students to be confused and timid. In the second lesson, the teacher is encouraging and engaging. This allows the students to feel comfortable and confident in their participation. As the teacher, it is important to think about how your attitude affects the classroom dynamic. A good class lesson is one in which the teacher gives clear direction and purpose to the students without being over-corrective or dominating the classroom.
