In this Unit, the primary focus was on teaching methodologies and lesson-planning. I learned a number of different ways to structure lessons using variations of the EAS (Engage, Study, Activate) framework. The unit also provided a number of different sample games and activities that might be used at each stage of the lesson, and with classes of different levels. Finally, the unit provided guidelines for correcting students, and suggested that the majority of the corrections should be given during the Study stage. Overall, corrections should be constructive and positive in tone, so as not to discourage or embarrass students.
