Chapter 6 describes the ins and outs of past tense. Essentially this chapter focuses on when it is appropriate to use each varied form of past tense. Depending upon when an action occurs will likely change which version of past tense ought to be used. For example, if an action started in the past and likely continued after, one would use past continuous. For me personally, this section yet again reminded me how to continually be more sensitive to my future students needs. Lessons like these can be challenging, so I feel myself continually becoming more understanding to their potential hardships with learning a language.
