This unit covers things for teachers to be mindful of when designing lesson plans for foreign language classes. The importance between balancing vocabulary development and grammar introduction is highlighted, as well as what to think about when deciding which vocabulary words and grammar structures one is introducing to their class. I appreciated the review on ESA lesson plans because as we cover more units, the information is all coming together in a cohesive way. We are learning about how to be intentional in choosing what to teach and how to implement the things we have chosen to teach in an effective and engaging way.
