According to the example lesson plans and Unit, it seems like a lot to do in one class! They'll be creating multiple works. One in a gap-fill activity, one in conjunction with pictures, and another entirely on their own. There are also multiple structures and styles to be aware of for writing: business letters, emails, stories, poem, and journals. Business letters and emails would require a lot of pre-teaching for high level vocabulary. For stories, I could refer back to the grammar points (present continuous, present simple, etc.,). And for poem teaching students how to create metaphors and similes would be very helpful.
