From this unit I learned the similarities of present tense with future tense. I also learned how easily the present simple when referring to the future and present continuous when referring to the future tenses can get confused with the original present simple tense and present continuous tense. Teaching the tenses together will be beneficial to the students and help them to see the differences through the visual comparison. As this online program progresses I am discovering I will be using a lot of visual aids and visual activities during the activate phase to get the tenses across in way that the students can relate to.
