This unit, evaluation and testing, presented different ways of evaluating student's levels and progress, as well as some of the common external exams that we may need to prepare our students for. In fact, there are many ways to assess a student's language level, such as Tutorials, Evaluation by the students and Tests. Concerning tests, we can mention: Placement tests, Progress tests, Diagnostic tests, Practice tests, General External Examinations and Cambridge Assessment. This unit is very important for inexperienced teachers in the way that it will help them to follow simple rules for a successful evaluation and testing.
