Unit 5 provided a broad overview of different methods for organizing and managing classes. In this unit, I learned about different seating arrangements that might be used for classes of different ages, nationalities, and sizes. I also learned about groupings that might be used (i.e. pairwork, groupwork, etc.) for the completion of different activities. Finally, the Unit provided a number of guidelines that I might follow to establish a rapport between myself and students in the classroom, adapting my voice and physical presence to different settings based on the needs and particularities of a given classroom environment.
