I learned the 7 different types of future tenses from this unit. I also learned the different correct usages for each of these tenses, along with the common mistakes and a few different examples of how to teach each of these different tenses. I also learned that two forms of the present tense, present simple and present continuous, can also be used to imply meaning in the future, which means that there are two verb forms which are both future and present tense. This was something that I had never really considered as a native English speaker, but useful to know, since it will be something that will be confusing to teach.
