This unit provided a good explanation of the different ways of receiving/taking in knowledge. It also made me consider the importance of interest when choosing topics to learn about. I always assumed that the topic would be based on curriculum, and didn't consider that it was more important to choose vocabulary/topics based around the students' interest. I think this is a wonderful idea and likely a very beneficial tactic. This unit further provided ideas surrounding creating a lesson plan. Each unit I better grasp the different stages of ESA and feel more confident with my own ability to create an engaging lesson plan.
