This unit was very useful as I learned some common problem situations. First of all the unit discussed the pros and cons of teaching 'new groups' v 'existing groups'. I learned some ways how a teacher can establish rapport with their students. I learned about the value of 'warmers' and some ideas for activities.I learned about teaching students of different levels as well as teaching large classes. I learned about how to manage the use of the students native language when studying English. I also learned about dealing with reluctant students and some of the problems and solutions for difficulties with listening texts.
