This unit covers how to set up a lesson plan. The unit goes over the ideas of if a lesson should be planned, what should be written down, breaks down parts of what should be included in the lesson plan, sequence planning, and finally various examples of what is being discussed. This unit is extremely helpful because it provides a basic skeleton of how a lesson plan should be done. This is extremely useful for beginning teachers to have something to build lesson plans around. Advanced teachers will have modified lesson plans to suit their own teaching styles, but will always have a similar base like the ones shown here.
