I have learnt he advantages and disadvantages of the following teaching equipment namely, whiteboard, interactive white board ,OHP, visual aids, worksheets ,cassette recorders, CD and DVD players etc. In my opinion, an IWB might be unnecessary for teaching English grammar as it is more interesting for science subjects. Regardless, it is important for all teachers to test their equipment before lessons begin. Technology is both a bane and a boon thus it might fail us at times. While I personally enjoy using youtube videos and DVDs to show my students, the lack of technological infrastructure might render this difficult.
