This unit discussed the general roles of the teacher and learners in a classroom as well as the levels of learners that teachers might encounter. While I was aware that teachers have to vary their roles in the classroom to fit the activity and the style of their learners, I did not expect to see so many distinct roles that the teacher must be aware of and be able to use. Also, I believe this lesson does a good job of drawing teacher attention to the various motivators that their students might have, as well as the various behavioral differences they might experience based on the age and English level of their students.
