This chapter covers the modal, phrasal verbs, and the passive voice. I really like the chart of auxiliary verbs. I'll print it out as a reference. I also like the passive voice chart. I think it's important to teach that active form is usually used in English. A direct translation of Japanese, for example, would almost lead to a passive voice, which sounds strange. Though interesting in definitions, I don't think it's so necessary in teaching the different types of phrasal verbs. Object allowance and placement follow naturally from understanding the meaning of the phrase. Teaching the types will depend on the students.
