Discipline seems to be difficult for many teachers, especially in another language. This unit give some great ways to avoid possible behavioral problems in the foreign language classroom. Building rapport with the students helps to motivate them to behave well in class. Having students build rapport with each other also creates a safer environment for students to experiment with language and can help them to gain confidence. Also understanding what some underlying causes of misbehavior is a good reminder for teachers. Sometimes there are problem we can not solve in the classroom and we should always be mindful of that.
