Key points in this lesson were going over general terminology so to understand many of the acronyms that we may come across in the TEFL world. Also a brief introduction to what is young learner and what they are like. A couple points included the age group of young learners can vary between 5 and 13 and that their minds are constantly changing so we need to be able to adapt and be flexible when providing a lesson. The course was also outlined so we know what is to come and be studied. The lesson also touched on job prospects and what opportunities you are likely to encounter should you decide to teach in an ESL school.
