In this unit I have learnt about managing classes. I have learnt how to correctly use eye contact, body language and the voice. I have learnt about grouping students and how different sized groups have an impact on the students learning. I have learnt about classroom arrangement and how you can have a more intimate or formal feel in the classroom depending on how the seating is arranged. I have also learnt about the different teacher positions and when to apply sitting or standing at different points in the lesson. I have also learnt about maintaining discipline in the classroom and behavior problems and their causes.
