This unit taught me about the different types of activities that I can do when teaching students about speaking, it also has some good examples on why students could be discouraged from taking part in classroom talks or not feeling confident about speaking in front of the class. It gave me some pointers on how to encourage students to become more comfortable with speaking exercises. The handwriting section was also quite insightful as it gave me a good idea of what to expect when I do teach writing to students. The game reference was great and I look forward to using some of those examples when I teach in the future.
