I feel that it was beneficial to recognize and give examples of the many roles a teacher can take. Sometimes I get too comfortable in certain roles i.e. Prompter, tutor, participant. I must remember that there are times for that and also times to be the focal point and to simply facilitate or manage an activity. I also found it useful highlighting the major differences between Adult and young learners in regards to things like motivation and previous experience. While you are still using many of the same concepts in teaching them english, you can modify your lesson and teaching style significantly for Adult learners.
