This unit so far has been the most new information for me as an English speaker. Being somebody who has never taught English, it gives me some great ideas of how to go about doing so. As much as teaching methods can be creative and some may work better than others for a particular set of students, it is good to get a baseline knowledge and foundation of methods that could help to start. Although even many long time and experienced teachers probably use these same methods, they are especially helpful for somebody starting out. With no guidance in how to go about structuring the class, it would be very difficult to do.
