The two videos provided in this unit show a very nice example of how the teacher´s attitude influences the students, their performance and interest in the lesson. I find it particularly useful and will definitely search for more videos on the internet as it is a good source of inspiration. The second video emphasises the teacher´s role as a participant, as an observer, but first of all as a human being with a kind approach, with the ability to listen, support and be patient with the students. Giving clear instructions, using a lot of visual aids and a good variety of activities and groupwork are some key differences between the two videos.
