In summary, this unit describes 2 videos from a TEFL class following ESA techniques by a language teacher to Thai students who are in the intermediate level. The first video follows ESA techniques in which it demonstrates an ineffective teaching progress as well as shows a drastic and a significant difference to the second video. The second video seems to be one of the effective teaching methodologies to interact more with the students and to make sure the students are able to use the language in a fun way at the end of the lesson. By comparing the 2 videos; the first video, the teacher makes the students confused at he start of the lesson by making them understand hard words at the beginning whereas the second lesson demonstrates that the teacher talks more generally with the students and move in to more complex grammar logically demonstrating on the board. Also, in the first lesson the teacher is more strict and shows temper on the late students whereas in the second lesson the teacher is much more concerned and polite for the late student. Moreover, in the first lesson the activity was confusing and the instructions were not clear but in the second lesson the teacher demonstrates an example on the board to ensure that everyone understands what should be done. Finally, in an overall basis, it can be concluded that video 1 is not very much suitable to make students get a clear idea and video 2 is recommended and I would personally join for video 2 class to study the grammar and to be more involved with language practice and participation.
