This unit was informative and taught me a few things about the the use of course book in the classroom. Honestly, I tend to never reply on them myself but it has always been a difficulty for me to plan a lesson around its usage. This unit gave some good points as to when they are useful and how effective they can be in the learning process. Also, the explanation between authentic and created materials are very true.
