In this unit, I learnt about the two different categories of skills that a language student would need to grasp, the two categories are receptive and productive. This unit focuses on receptive skills, which are reading and listening, we also talked about the different skills involved in effective reading/listening such as predictive, scanning, skimming etc.. Also, this unit talked about how to select teaching materials in order to effectively teach a language point and lastly, I learnt about the key to a successful receptive skill lesson.
