I have learned that there is a lot more to teaching than knowing just the subject matter. You have to be very observant of the students and their body language. It can tell me a lot of things that will help me in planning lessons and conducting lessons. I also learned that even though I have been speaking english all my life, it doesn't mean that I know how to teach it to someone. I will continually read the information from all the previous lessons to ensure that I know it and will use it when writing my own lesson plans. I will also continually do online research for new ideas and information.
