Even though I am a native english speaker, this course has taught me so much about the language that I had forgotten or perhaps never had learned. So much of what I know about english grammar was learned naturally at "my fathers knee" so to speak. He was in fact an english teacher long ago. I have enjoyed this course so much. The course design, composition and layout is excellent. I feel that everything one needs to know to teach TESOL has been covered. I am confident that I have the right tools to begin teaching forthwith. On a personal note, I have been tutoring my wife's extended family in english. They are all Thai. The lessons so far have been a great help in that pursuit, but I'd like to do more, perhaps in the public schools.
