This course has given me a deeper grasp of the english language and the ability of explaining it to foreign language learners. By revealing the most common mistakes made by students and helping me to identify these mistakes and their appropriate solutions, I have been able to improve my classes in real life accordingly. One of my biggest weaknesses in teaching was using supplementary aids- I did not have a good grasp on what kind of aids should be used and how- in this course I have identified the kinds of aids that should be used by teachers. I have been implementing more teaching aids into my classes and using the knowledge about identifying student errors and problems to create specified solutions more specifically catered to individual students needs.
