The unit 13, Teaching pronunciation and phonology, is an important and quite difficult unit. It covered how to use intonations and stress to emphasis our speech. The unit gives a thorough understanding of phonemic symbols, linked speech, sound joining, articulation, speech organs, place of articulation and manner of articulation. Moreover, I understood techniques and activities that can help students gain confidence when using the language. The unit was full of new knowledge for me.
