Unit 13 was about teaching pronounciation and phonology. It gave the reasons why it is important to not to neglact those areas. It taught techniques to teach students to put a stress on a right sylable in a word and on a key word in a sentence, and for intonation. The unit gave teaching techniques for the pronounciation of individual sounds.
