In this unit I learned a lot about how teacher's attitude and preparedness can alter the course of the class. In the first video, the class was very boring and the students weren't really learning much, because the teacher didn't engage them properly, poorly explained the material, was finger pointing instead of calling names. On the contrary, the second video showed a lot of engagement and understanding from the students. The teacher made sure to learn students' names, to spend enough time on Engage phase, he explained every drill with examples, and thus the lesson was very productive.
