A good teacher will have patience and answer questions from his students and, if something is not clear, he will find a different way of explaining it. He must be open to what his students ask him, and be able to adapt to it. It is important to demonstrate and transmit that a teacher knows how to do his job and keep the class pace under control. It is necessary to be able to read the situation and be able to think about what our students need and empathise while at the same time displaying creativity. It is also required that our English teaching “feels” like it encourages learning outside the classroom.
