This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:

I?ve definitely learned how useful a lesson plan can be, especially for thinking back on a lesson you?ve taught and making it better. I like the way the template is set up to make you think about what could be problematic in a lesson, as well as the way it breaks the lesson into manageable chunks. I also learned a lot about grammar, and can sympathize with learners who are struggling with grammar problems! I know I struggled with some of the exercises in the course, even though I speak english fluently. The course also brought to my attention the differences that can occur among groups of learners. For example, young verses adult learners?you will have very different kinds of motivation and attention spans. I can?t honestly say I learned too too much from this, but I?ve been teaching ESL students for almost a year now, and a lot of this comes with experience, but I?ve enjoyed the exercise of thinking about it all throughout the course.
